First Round NEET Counselling results are announced!

NEET

After 2 months of NEET results, finally, NEET Counselling began. I didn't apply for All India Counselling(AIQ) because I was sure I won't get into a better college through AIQ than State counselling. I applied to around 10 colleges in my state.

MY PRIORITY LIST:

Bangalore Medical College

Mysore Medical College

Karnataka Institute of Medical Science, Hubballi

Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College, Bangalore

Hassan medical college

Mandya medical college

Shimoga medical college

Chamrajnagara medical college

Kodagu medical college

Karwar medical college

I was sure I would get into a college among the top 4, but I didn't know I would get top 3 colleges of my state in the first round. But when the provisional results of the first round were announced I was quite shocked to see that I was allotted to the top 3 college. But the place of the college wasn't convenient for me to travel to, so I changed the priority of my options and put Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College(SABVMCRI) before the allotted college. So I was allotted to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College in the first round.

I'm satisfied with the college because Bangalore is travel friendly and is useful for my future too as there are so many coaching centres for the PG entrances exam around. But I wish to participate in the second round and wish to see if I could get into a top 2 college in my state.

Some facts about SABVMCRI:

SABVMCRI got permission from NMC in the year 2019. As it is situated in the state capital, it is quite more developed than some older colleges. It has three hospitals associated with it- Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital, Govt HSIS Gosha Hospital and Charaka Superspeciality Hospital. The first two hospitals were built 100 years ago during the British empire.

I will update you about the second-round results once they are announced. Until then GOOD-BYE!

Comment down below which college you were allotted within your state counselling or All India Counselling.

THANK YOU!
